My name is Monica, I finished the University of Environmental and Life Sciences. I got a master degree in Zoology. I've been dreaming about pets since I was a child. First, I wanted to have a dog but my mother didn't. I tried everything to persuade her to have one but she still was rigid. I was fighting for my dream and my mother was bringing me to psychologists. Thanks to them I finally got my dog. It was a beautiful whippet. His name was Otto and he was with me for 16 years. He still is at the bottom of my heart.
After few years a breeder bent has woken up. I was pleased to watch animal behaviour, feed, tame and groom them. That's how I got my turtle (he's 22 years now), rabbits, fishes, parrots, a chamster and a ferret Elmo.
I was dreaming about a cat for a very long time. But unfortunatelly my parents was not willing to. My mother was scared of cats and my father had bad memories from the past (cat marks its teritory and scratches everything). In addition, my sister was allergic to cats. I finished my studies and the only thing I wanted then, was a cat. I finally persuaded my parents to bring a cat so I started to look for one on my own. I choose a birman. It was such a shame but I didn't recognize which one is a birman, which one is a ragdoll seal mitted. On 16th of August 2007 a birman female came to me. Two months after that I also picked up a ragdoll. These breeds are completely different but they suit themselves very well. All my family has completely got crazy about them...and cats are still no.1 theme in my home.
I feel that birmans will be with me till the end...they just made me addicted to them.
